SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Domestic Shipping:

Econaway Abrasives will always attempt to ship your order immediately, although it can take up to 3 business days (do not count weekends) to process.. Orders are processed Monday through Friday with shipments coming directly from our warehouse,

Our shipping fees are based on:

1- Actual weight and size to reduce costs . Wherever possible we attempt to combine items in one carton to reduce your shipping costs. It is always advisable to order several items at once in order to reduce your shipping costs.

2- The exact zip code item is shipped from and exact item of where it is shipped to.

Shipping is not a profit center. 

Standard Delivery:


We use  UPS Ground, Fed Ex Ground, and United States Postal Service for all domestic shipments within the continental U.S. Please note, Fed Ex and UPS do not ship to P.O. Boxes.. 

Express Delivery:

Express  2 day shipment for orders placed and received into our system by 12:00, CST will be eligible to ship out the same day pending product availability.

2 day service: Delivery will occur on the second full business day. (i.e if a package is shipped out on a Friday, the second business day would be Tuesday.)

Please do not count the day that a package is shipped out as a full business day. Business days are M-F excluding weekends and holidays. International and APO/FPO cannot be Expressed Delivered. If an order includes items that can and cannot be expressed delivered, and you want to "express deliver " the items that can be expedited, the total shipping fees will reflect regular ground rates and express rates. (not all items will be expressed)

Order Tracking:

Tracking numbers are automatically e-mailed to customers on most orders that ship within the continental U.S.A. Most orders can be tracked by going to our Order Tracking Page and entering your order number. If you have difficulties tracking your order, or have questions relating to your order, please contact our Customer Service for further assistance.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax is collected on  Michigan sales only. The tax rate is based on the ship to address.

Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitor's contact information (like their email address) and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers. The customer's contact information is used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.

RETURNS & REPLACEMENTS

Return Policy:

Econaway Abrasives .com  will accept returns within 30 days from the date that the order was received by the customer. All return inquires must be made within 30 days. All personal choice returns must be received new, unused, undamaged and unassembled.  Items must be within its original packaging. You must contact us within 30-days for return instructions. Failure to contact us, will affect our ability to process the return and any corresponding credit to your account. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) are required. The customer is responsible for the return shipping fees, and the original shipping fee will be deducted from any credit. When returning merchandise directly, it is critical that you provide the return tracking number, so that we can verify the return, and apply any necessary credit.

Please note: altering an item in any way negates the possibility of a return.

For your protection we recommend that all packages are insured.

Upon receipt of the returned merchandise and/or the return tracking number, a credit will be issued to your account. All credits will be completed within 30 days, or no more than two credit card billing cycles. Any orders paid by check or money order will be refunded by check.

Undeliverable packages are considered personal choice returns; standard return refunds after notable deductions apply.

Should any returns get damaged (or lost) during (return) shipping the customer is responsible for filing any and all claims with the carrier.

After 30 days we reserve the right to refuse a return. The refund for any granted returns after such time will consist of store credit for item cost minus any applicable fees. Altering an item from its original condition in any way negates the possibility of the item being returned.

Exchanges:

We make every effort to replace most damaged or defective merchandise, however, we can not accept exchanges.  In order to help you get exactly what you want, simply return your unwanted item(s) for a refund and we will help you place a new order for the item(s) you want.  

Please note that all refunds will be processed after the merchandise has been returned.

Damaged or Defective Items:

Be sure to open and inspect all packages immediately upon receipt! We must be notified within 30-days of your receipt if any item is damaged, defective, or missing parts. Please send an e mail to Customer Service. Failure to contact our office within 30-days may void our Returns / Damaged Item policy.

If the package appears to have been slightly damaged during transit, we encourage you to write "Package Damaged" on the slip when you sign for it.

If the package is severely damaged you can refuse to accept delivery of the shipment. Please let us know if this occurs so that we are aware of the situation, and can replace your order, if desired.

Be sure to keep all packaging, including interior packing materials and any interior and/ or exterior boxes so that we can submit a damage claim with the freight carrier. Items must be returned in the original packaging. It is critical you obtain the original box and all packaging materials as a call tag may need to be issued to pick-up and inspect the damaged/defective merchandise.  Failure to keep the box and materials will effect our ability to process your request for a refund or replacement.  Also, in some cases, after the pick-up of damaged/defective merchandise, an inspection will take place to determine the cause of the damage/defect.  The results of the inspection will determine the level of your refund. 

Econaway Abrasives reserves the right to supply replacement parts whenever possible to correct any damaged or defective component of an item. Replacement parts, offered at our discretion, can often eliminate the need to return an item, or to replace the entire unit. Such replacement parts, will be sent via regular ground delivery, at no cost to the customer. When a damaged product is returned, the credit will include any shipping costs due.
